What this examination path includes.

Major public-sector banking pathways include IBPS recruitment for participating banks and separate SBI recruitment for roles such as Probationary Officer and Junior Associate or clerk.

Preparation commonly combines speed and accuracy in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, awareness, and computer or data-analysis tasks, followed by interview or language requirements where notified.

Eligibility

A recognised graduation degree is usual for PO and clerk-level recruitment, but age, nationality, local-language proficiency, marks, and document cut-off dates must be checked in the relevant advertisement.

Are IBPS and SBI exams the same?

No. Their core aptitude preparation overlaps, but they are separate recruitment processes with different notices, vacancies, dates, cut-offs, and sometimes different later stages.

Do bank clerk exams include an interview?

Clerical recruitment generally uses online examinations and relevant language/document checks rather than an interview, but the current advertisement is final.
